The final shloka of Chapter 10, and one of the most breathtaking lines in the entire Gita. Krishna says: Arjuna, what will you gain from knowing all these details? Just know this — I support this entire universe with a single fragment of Myself.

Let that settle for a moment. The sun, the moon, the sages, the rivers, the mountains, the oceans, the wind, time itself — all of that was described in the vibhutis. And all of it fits inside one fragment. The remaining, uncountable fragments? They are beyond words, beyond imagination. This is the ultimate mystery of Vibhuti Yoga. What has been said is infinite. What has been left unsaid is infinitely more.

This shloka is the closing statement of the entire tenth chapter. In 10.1, Krishna began with 'listen to My supreme word.' In 10.42, He ends with 'one fragment holds it all.' The circle is complete.

Chapter 11 follows directly. There, Arjuna will actually see the Vishvarupa — the cosmic form. Shloka 10.42 prepares the ground. What was conveyed here through words will next be revealed through direct vision.
