Krishna makes a sharp observation. Treating Sankhya (the path of knowledge) and Yoga (the path of action) as separate — that is the talk of people who lack understanding. Those who truly know recognize that both lead to the same truth.

Imagine two roads to the same village: one through the hills, one along the river. The destination is identical. Whoever walks either road with full attention and sincere heart will arrive. The fruit of both paths is one and the same.

This shloka establishes the unity of Jnana Marga (Sankhya) and Karma Marga (Yoga). Krishna does not declare one superior — both are valid. Tradition has long held that inner sincerity matters more than the external form of one's practice.
