The ninth anuvak asks for the favour of the cosmic elements — directions, sun, moon, stars, earth, water, herbs, metals, and all of nature. This is the Vedic ideal of harmony with the whole of creation.

दिशश्च मे अग्निश्च मे सूर्यश्च मे चन्द्रमाश्च मे ।
