All these varied yajnas — through material offering, austerity, breath, senses, study, knowledge — have been described in the Vedas, the living breath of Brahman. Know them all as born from action. And knowing this, you will be free.

The key insight is this: every form of yajna rests on the ground of karma, of action. But knowledge is what lifts the seeker beyond action's binding force. When you understand that all these paths are spokes of the same wheel, and that knowledge is the hub, the wheel of bondage stops turning.

This shloka summarizes the entire yajna discussion (4.25-4.31). The Vedas describe many paths; all are action-based; knowledge liberates the practitioner from their binding effects.

The next shloka (4.33) declares the supremacy of the yajna of knowledge over all material yajnas.
