Mantra 1
इध्मश्च मे बर्हिश्च मे वेदिश्च मे ।
Idhmascha me barhishcha me vedishcha me |
इध्मः

the sacred kusha grass seat
वेदिः
the sacrificial altar
May I receive the firewood, the sacred kusha grass seat, and the sacrificial altar — all the materials needed to perform the yajna.
Mantra 2
धिष्ण्याश्च मे स्रुचश्च मे चमसाश्च मे ।
Dhishnyaashcha me sruchashcha me chamasaashcha me |
धिष्ण्याः
the subsidiary fire-places of the yajna
स्रुचः
the ladles for pouring oblations
चमसाः
the cups for soma
May I receive the subsidiary fire-places, the oblation ladles, and the soma cups.
Mantra 3
ग्रावाणश्च मे स्वरवश्च मे उपरवाश्च मे ।
Gravaanashcha me svaravashcha me uparavashcha me |
ग्रावाणः
the stones for pressing soma
स्वरवः
the upper pressing stones
उपरवाः
the lower pressing stones
May I receive the soma-pressing stones — both upper and lower.
Mantra 4
आश्वभ्यश्च मे वाजायश्च मे सोमाय च मे ।
Aashvabhyashcha me vaajayashcha me somaaya cha me |
आश्वभ्यः
for the horse-sacrifice (ashvamedha)
वाजाय
for food and strength
सोमाय
for the soma ritual
May I receive the means for the great sacrifices, food and strength, and the soma ritual.
Mantra 5
शुक्रं च मे हविश्च मे धूपश्च मे ।
Shukram cha me havishcha me dhuupashcha me |
शुक्रम्
the pure soma juice
हविः
the oblation materials
धूपः
fragrant smoke, incense
May I receive the pure soma, the oblation materials, and fragrant incense.
Mantra 6
आज्यं च मे अन्नं च मे प्रतिष्ठा च मे ।
Aajyam cha me annam cha me pratishtha cha me |
आज्यम्
ghee for the fire-offering
अन्नम्
food
प्रतिष्ठा
steadiness and established honour
May I receive ghee for the offering, food, and steadiness and established honour.

The seventh anuvak asks for all the implements of the yajna — firewood, altar, ladles, pressing stones, soma, ghee, and incense. Ritual sacrifice is central to Vedic life, and asking Rudra for the means to perform it is itself an act of deep devotion.
