The fifth anuvak extends Rudra's omnipresence into the fabric of society itself. He is found in the great and the minute, the chariot-rider and the foot-traveller, the general and the soldier, the artisan and the forest-dweller. This is the Vedic vision of the divine in every human being.

Mantra 1
नमो महद्भ्यः क्षुल्लकेभ्यश्च वो नमः ।
Namo mahadbhyah kshullakebhyashcha vo namah |
महद्भ्यः
to the great (vast) forms
क्षुल्लकेभ्यः
to the small (subtle) forms
Salutation to Rudra in his vast forms and in his subtle, minute forms.
Mantra 2
नमो रथिभ्योऽरथेभ्यश्च वो नमः ।
Namo rathibhyo'ratebhyashcha vo namah |
रथिभ्यः
to those who travel by chariot
अरथेभ्यः
to those who travel on foot
Salutation to Rudra — whether he moves by chariot or travels on foot.
Mantra 3
नमः सेनाभ्यः सेनानिभ्यश्च वो नमः ।
Namah senabhyah senaanibhyashcha vo namah |
सेनाभ्यः
to the armies
सेनानिभ्यः
to the commanders
Salutation to Rudra's armies and to their commanders.
Mantra 4
नमः क्षत्तृभ्यः संग्रहीतृभ्यश्च वो नमः ।
Namah kshatribhyah sangrahitribhyashcha vo namah |
क्षत्तृभ्यः
to the gatekeepers
संग्रहीतृभ्यः
to the charioteers
Salutation to the gatekeepers and to the charioteers.
Mantra 5
नमस्तक्षभ्यो रथकारेभ्यश्च वो नमः ।
Namastakshabhyo rathakaarebhyashcha vo namah |
तक्षभ्यः
to the carpenters
रथकारेभ्यः
to the chariot-makers
Salutation to the carpenters and chariot-makers — artisans who are Rudra's own manifestation.

नमः कुलालेभ्यः कर्मारेभ्यश्च वो नमः ।

to the potters

to the blacksmiths
Salutation to potters and blacksmiths — Rudra is present in all artisans.

नमः पुञ्जिष्टेभ्यो निषादेभ्यश्च वो नमः ।

to the fishermen
निषादेभ्यः
to the forest-dwelling communities
